My Background

Greetings!

I’m Lindsay Boyum. I’m a board-certified acupuncturist, herbalist, and practitioner of complimentary modalities with a passion for helping people align with their inner compass to navigate the winds of change.

I completed my BA in Contemplative (Buddhist) Psychology at Naropa University, where I was first introduced to the alluring psychology and philosophy of the classical Chinese Five Element model. This complete and elegant model shifted me from a polarized worldview of right verses wrong and good verses evil, into a complete and integrative paradigm that adequately summarized all of life as relative proportions and composite mixtures of the five elements. No longer was my perception bound to a stark black and white contrast; suddenly everything I encountered and witnessed represented a valid energetic expression originating from a balance or imbalance of the five colorful categories that encompassed all manifest life. I found greater meaning and understanding of humanity.

I embarked into the physical practice of healing arts first through Core Synchronism, followed by massage therapy, and then ultimately Five Element Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, with the goal of weaving the various dimensions of healing together into one unified practice. My practice is integrative and adaptive, to address the needs of each person in each moment.

From a young age I vigorously sought growth and expansion, and the result of this was rapid change that often led me through turbulent transitions. I am delighted to orient my services toward assisting those in the midst of undergoing big changes and transitions in life, to establish a graceful yet solid footing on a golden pathway, aligned with vision, forward movement, and flexible adaptation. This golden path of change can lead you back to your most authentic self.
